This six-week series invites you to connect with our farm animals in a hands-on, engaging way while learning how to care for them responsibly and sustainably. Through interactive lessons, crafts, and up-close animal experiences, you will explore animal behavior, nutrition, welfare, and the powerful human-animal bond - all while having fun on the farm!

Program #1: Teatime with Violet **
**Date: Sunday, April 12th at 11am

Guests meet Violet the donkey while enjoying herbal tea and learning how specific herbs support her digestive health. The experience concludes with a short, guided walk around the farm, highlighting other animals and future farm plans.

Program #2: Check in with the Chickens
Date: Sunday, April 19th at 11am

This session teaches basic chicken anatomy, nutrition, common health concerns, and biosecurity practices. Participants visit the coop to meet the chickens, discuss housing design, and see firsthand how the flock is cared for.

Program #3: Piggly Wiggly's
Date: Sunday, May 3rd at 11am

Participants learn about different pig breeds, mini pig myths, their intelligence, and proper care requirements. The program includes a pig-themed craft and a meet-and-greet with the farm’s mini pigs.

Program #4: What Does the Horse Say?
Date: Sunday, May 10th at 11am

Guests discover how horses communicate through ear, tail, and facial expressions during an interactive lesson. The session includes a hands-on activity and observation of the farm’s equines to interpret their behaviors in real time.

Program #5: Chomping with Chevy
Sunday, May 17th at 11am

This program explains the ruminant digestive system and how sheep use multiple stomach compartments to process food. Participants create a “rumen in a bottle” model before meeting the sheep and learning about sustainable grazing practices.

Program #6: An Egg-cellent Time
Sunday, May 24th at 11am

Participants learn about the full egg cycle, egg grading, shell colors, yolk differences, and proper cleaning and storage methods. The experience includes collecting eggs from the coop and practicing safe egg handling back at the barn.

Tickets are available for the full 6-week series for $50. Refunds will not be given for missed classes. Tickets for individual drop-in classes are $10 each.
