Let Me Share a Story from Our Ascent2aCure Camps…
In August 2023, families from across the U.S.—from Alaska to Virginia, New York to Washington—gathered at Adventureland NY for the inaugural Ascent2aCure Camp. It was a week filled with resilience, connection, and unforgettable experiences.
One of the most powerful moments came when motivational speaker Matt Scoletti led the children in a heartfelt chant:
“I will not quit on myself… I will not quit on my health… I will not quit on my family.”
What began as a quiet repetition soon became a united declaration of strength and hope. Voices grew louder, more determined, as each child embraced the final pledge:
“I will never give up.”
Tears of pride filled parents’ eyes as they watched their children stand tall, inspired by a renewed belief in their strength and potential. It was more than a chant—it was a shared promise that united every family in courage and hope.
Looking Back, Moving Forward
Following the incredible success of our inaugural camp, our 2024 Ascent2aCure Camp built on that foundation with even more life-changing moments of joy, adventure, and connection. Families formed lifelong bonds, found strength in shared stories, and created memories that will last forever.
