Beyond Barriers is Beyond Type 1’s cornerstone initiative that partners with local organizations to close gaps in diabetes care by delivering vital resources and removing barriers to early detection, treatment, and long-term support for underserved and underrepresented communities.

Since launching in 2024, we’ve reached over 200,000 people through partners like the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Florida and the Lambda Chi nursing chapter in Detroit, supporting education, mobile health, and community events.

To date, we’ve invested over $1 million in community programs and grants across the U.S. and India—ensuring that everyone, everywhere has access to the care and resources they need to survive and thrive with diabetes.
