Capital Caring Health Transportation Program

Far too many terminally ill, hospice-qualified patients die alone in the hospital every day
because contracted ambulance services to transport them back home for hospice
care are often unreliable and may take 24 to 72 hours or more to pick them up.

Please help us fill a critical need in our community by becoming one of only a handful of the 5,000 hospice providers nationwide offering this vital transportation service.

• To facilitate transfers home and to our inpatient centers as individuals are ready for discharge without being on long waiting lists from other transport companies.
• We estimate transporting around 3,000 patients a year — many of whom otherwise may not make it home.
