Dr. Ilowite was a founding member and past president of CARRA, and his legacy continues through the collaborative efforts of CARRA researchers working to prevent, treat, and cure pediatric rheumatic and related autoimmune diseases. In addition to his work at CARRA, Dr. Ilowite was a Professor Emeritus at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and served as Chief of Pediatric Rheumatology at The Children's Hospital at Montefiore.
