Community Equity Impact Circle

THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT

Equity Impact Circles (EICs) are the primary tool CBI uses as we work to increase both the understanding and advancement of equity in our community. Using TED Talks and other content as a jumping-off point, participants learn to exchange perspectives, ask questions, and articulate ideas. EICs are intended to support people to learn and use a common “equity vocabulary,” help them develop an “equity lens” to analyze community issues, and guide them toward action as they work to build a more equitable and just Charlotte-Mecklenburg. These community sessions will focus on the concept of "Belonging".

Our EICs have traditionally been designed to build an understanding of equity and foster its advancement. The first EIC of 2025 will also hold space for personal and community well-being, with guest moderators and resource sharing.

This virtual experience is open to anyone living or working in the Charlotte region. We will gather on Zoom for four (4) consecutive Wednesdays from 12:00 - 1:30PM beginning on January 29 and ending on February 19. Participation in all 4 sessions is expected, to maximize your experience.

This ONLINE event is free but registration is required. The meeting link will be sent prior to the event.
