Mexico Team 2023

Mexico City Mission Trip - HAPPENING June 9 - 18, 2023!

Our team of 5 will be working with national missionaries Fernando, Isabel, & Feli along with several others they work with in the city, to minister to the community of La Laguna del Toro, a village within the city limits.

Twice a month, they do an outreach to the village, bringing food packages for the families, bible stories and lessons for the children, discipleship for new believers, and encouragement for the many young mothers there. Most of the men are usually away looking for work. They people come from other parts of Mexico, and many of them are indigenous, a marginalized group in Mexico, so finding work can be difficult for them.

While there, we also plan to visit the agricultural project that produces much of the food they bring to La Laguna, and other poor families in the city.
