Mental health services have been chronically underfunded for far too long. A shortage of mental health professionals, case managers, and social workers in the field and in the pipeline further compounds this growing crisis. It is imperative that we invest now in expanding mental health supports, suicide prevention, counseling, care coordination, and homeless outreach.
The mental health support services necessary to assist our communities are directly dependent upon mental health organizations, like EveryMind, having the financial resources and workforce to meet the new mental health challenges ahead.
For 65 years, EveryMind has been a trusted mental health resource for the National Capital Region, meeting the community's mental well-being needs and bringing hope and healing to a variety of populations: adults in crisis, children, youth, families, veterans and military families.
