AUAF’s physical campus in Kabul was widely described as an oasis—a protected, intellectually vibrant community that defied its surroundings. Today, that oasis has evolved: no longer defined by physical walls—AUAF is defined by access, continuity, and connection. It is an “online oasis”—a high-touch, high-tech, high-quality program that delivers accredited degrees and a sense of community and purpose for the future leaders of Afghanistan. Our conviction that education will prevail is rooted endlessly in the brave young Afghans we refuse to abandon.
