Annual Giving Campaign 2024

This year, as we move towards our goal in our Annual Campaign, we are asking, what are the motivations that drive us to give back? At the heart of our campaign lies a simple yet profound question: What is your 'Y'? What compels you to make a difference in the world? Whether it's a personal connection you make, a desire to create positive change, a personal passion, or simply the joy of giving, we believe that everyone has a unique reason to contribute. 

When you give to the Y, you are helping individuals reach their fullest potential and fostering healthier lifestyles across all age groups through the programs in which they participate.

The Annual Giving Campaign supports community initiatives such as LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, Afterschool and Summer Day Camp, Teen Programming, and Safety Around Water to address critical needs here in Gaston County.

The Y's Annual Giving Campaign funds also provide financial assistance for Y membership and programs. Financial assistance gives kids, teens, families, adults, and seniors support that aligns with their household income, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
