Hi, we are the Door Belles team, a group of 4 women, including Sheri, Carol, Pastor Steph & Bekah. We have come together through Friendship & our community and share a common passion for affordable homeownership because everyone deserves a decent place to live.
Our team chose to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity of Southeast Indiana because of a desperate need in our community for shelter and stability. We believe in Habitat's mission, and we're proud to support an organization that helps families achieve safe, stable, and affordable housing.
To our team, home means warmth. Housing represents safety, and we know how important it is for individuals and families to have a place where they can grow.
When it comes to home building, our team would describe our experience as diverse yet similar. If we had to describe our construction skill level in one sentence, it would be: Competent.
Through this Women Build experience, we hope to build**, **grow, and sustain momentum for future Women Builds. We were excited to learn new skills, work alongside seasoned and new volunteers, and leave this experience feeling blessed and accomplished.
