We are building a place of remembrance for our neighbors who died without a home in Santa Cruz County. Join us.
We are raising $45,000 to build a permanent memorial for people in Santa Cruz County who have passed away while homeless.
The memorial will be built at Evergreen Cemetery, which has a 160-year history of being the final resting place for local citizens who die without family or resources.
The memorial is a collaboration between Housing Matters, Homeless Persons Health Project, Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History, and Arts Council Santa Cruz County.
Donate today to honor those in our community who die without a place to call home.
