ICNK – International Coalition to Stop Crimes Against Humanity in North Korea
Founded in 2011, ICNK is a global network of 40+ organizations from around 15 countries. It spearheaded the advocacy that led to the UN Commission of Inquiry (COI) on human rights in North Korea, and continues to push for implementation of the COI’s recommendations through sustained advocacy, media outreach, independent research, and engagement with governments and the UN.
NKNet – Network for North Korean Democracy and Human Rights
Established in 1999 by leaders of South Korea’s democratization movement, NKNet promotes democracy and human rights in the DPRK. As the Secretariat of ICNK, NKNet conducts in-depth research, analysis, and advocacy to shape effective strategies for advancing rights and accountability.
