Fine Arts Trip | Chicago, IL

Field trips are an integral part of learning, thereby providing a valuable and enriching experience outside the classroom setting. We have organized a trip for our high school band, choir, orchestra, photography, and visual art students to experience the musical and fine arts’ heritage of one of our great Midwest cities, Chicago, Illinois. To prepare for this experience students will be studying the history, genre, careers, and influence of music and art on the Chicago culture. Our goal is to raise $13,000 by April 1, 2024.

Lighthouse Christian Academy serves families in Bloomington and the surrounding counties. Our students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of educational experiences, including college preparatory classes, fine arts, athletics, and various extracurricular activities.

A sponsorship for one student is $255. For your donation, a student will be able to attend this field trip. In acknowledgement for your donation, we will include your name/logo on our t-shirts and post recognition at school fine art events such as our spring concerts on March 19, March 21, May 13, and the Art Show on May 4 . These are free events open to the community and we welcome your attendance.
