My name is Leslie Ramon, and I am writing on behalf of Loaves and Fishes. Our organization is dedicated to feeding all who are hungry. L&F has been a part of the community since 1983 we do what we can with the little that we have. We serve breakfast and lunch 4 days a week and deliver to about 60 homebound individuals 3 days a week which results in anywhere from 150 to 200 meals a day. We served 53000 meals in 2020. When COVID started we did not miss a beat we adjusted and kept on serving so no one went hungry. Our current lease is up in December and at this point, we have no other option but to close our doors unless we find a building and funding to make the transition. If we must close that's 53000 meals that won't be served not only to the homeless but ANYONE who is hungry. We serve with no judgment and passion in our hearts to everyone who walks through our door.
At Loaves and Fishes, we are currently working on a project that will raise enough money to purchase or lease a new permanent home. We have changed locations 3 times over the years and would love to find a place to call home.
In order to make a difference, we rely on the support of generous individuals and businesses in our community.
We are asking you to find it in your hearts to help us with this new task of finding a permanent home.   Your support is critical to keep L&F a vital part of East Biloxi. We thank you for your consideration of helping us fulfill our mission.
Please contact me at 228-264-1600 if you can support our efforts to make a difference in
the community. You may also contribute by www.loavesbiloxi.com/donate or mailing a check to PO BOX 233 Biloxi, MS 39533. Thank you so much for your kind consideration of our request,
and we hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
Leslie Ramon
