Our vision at MUNGU is to bring newfound opportunities to young athletes like Julius. The sad reality is, amongst MUNGU FC players, over 1/2 of these kids are orphaned and are living with friends, guardians, orphanages etc.
We are on a mission to make sure each child in MUNGU Academy has access to food, education, community, and growth in sport. We have calculated that in order to provide three meals a day, education enrollment, sports equipment, access to church, and housing for every athlete, it comes out to around $34/month. This small sum of money can make all the difference in unlocking a new path of life for each player and giving them the tools they need to succeed in life.
With your help of sponsoring just one child’s growth in life, we can make this vision come true, and create a new generation of achievement and success in Africa.
We wanted to make sure the money you are donating is going towards building up one child at MUNGU ACADEMY. We have analyzed costs of living and factored all other costs to come up with the amount of $34 per month. This might not sound like a lot of money to you and I, but $34 a month is enough money to provide each MUNGU child with:
-Proper housing and shelter
-Food and water
-Education
-Soccer equipment and gear
-Clothing
-Community
We ask that you join us in working to stop the constant generational poverty and lack of opportunity that exists in many place of Africa. With your help, we can give hope to these children and provide a better path for them in life. We aim to get these athletes global opportunities to play soccer and live better lives, but it starts with their upbringing as children in receiving proper education, having reliant shelter and food, and most importantly, having a godly community around them to pour love and give them a better shot at life.
