Our FOP is a non-profit IRC 501(c)(8) organization and funds raised at our event are donated to local charitable organizations. This year, the proceeds will go to MPD "Shop with a Cop" program, which provides local children in need with the necessary school supplies, as well as clothing and other items; the Scott Jennings Memorial Fishing Contest, an annual event held free of charge for area children; and four $500 college scholarships for area students. We will also donate 15 percent of live auction proceeds to Big Brothers Big Sisters of McDonough County.
