As a member of The Bread Club, your family will receive a freshly baked loaf of bread each week that Chefs Susan and Carol bake bread for the school. In addition, your subscription helps sustain TEL’s beloved Friday Bread Program — ensuring that every current TEL family continues to receive a loaf of bread each week.
Each Bread Club subscription provides your family with an additional loaf of bread and also makes it possible for another family in the community to receive bread, extending the spirit of giving beyond our walls.
The Bread Club is open to all current and alumni TEL families (including grandparents).
**To be clear, the Friday Bread Program will continue to provide a loaf of bread to every current TEL family on Friday just as it always has. A subscription to The Bread Club provides a current family with an ADDITIONAL loaf of bread. **
Families may purchase a subscription to The Bread Club for a monthly payment of $50 for one loaf of bread per week in that month (please note that some months have 3 weeks, and some have 4 or 5 weeks and the $50/month covers the entire month regardless of the number of weeks in that month) or $100/month to receive two loaves of bread per week in the month.
The subscription amount will be charged automatically each month.
(Fifty percent of each monthly donation is tax deductible.)
Bread will be available for pickup at TEL between 2pm and 5pm on the following days of the 2025/2026 school year (all are Fridays, except for Thursday, October 23rd; Thursday, May 7th; and Tuesday. June 16th):
September: 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th
October: 3rd, 10th, 17th, 23rd*, 31st
November: 7th, 14th, 21st
December: 5th, 12th*, 19th
January: 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th
February: 6th, 13th, 27th
March: 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th
April: 3rd, 10th, 17th
May: 1st, 7th*, 15th, 22nd, 29th
June: 5th, 12th, 16th*
*Bread is only available for Bread Club on these 4 dates.
