Merritt Men's Basketball Team

The Merritt Junior College Men's team has made tremendous progress over the last 2 seasons under head coach Derrick Jones. Eight (8) players have moved on to play basketball at the 4-year level as well as two all-state academic players. We have another special group this season who are excelling in the classroom as well as on the court.

Due to the pandemic, fundraising opportunities have been limited and reduced the ability to provide some needs for the student-athletes. The goal of this fund is to provide amenities such as an automatic shooting machine, sweatshirts/t-shirts and award trophies at the end of the season. Our target is 12k total for the program. Every little bit counts, and every donation is appreciated!!! The hope is to give these hard-working young men an experience that will springboard them to success and last a lifetime.
