Tyler Parker Care Fund

Our son Tyler was born with a sense of fairness, justice, and care. Starting in preschool, he would take under his wing those who others excluded and those that did not seem to have friends. After graduating from San Francisco State University, Tyler devoted his passion, skills, and dedication to others. 

He was part of our family business in hospitality, feeding and organizing special events for companies and individuals alike until the business was sold. Once COVID hit, he turned to feeding those who did not have enough food as well as those needing extra care to be housed and those suffering from mental health illnesses. 

It is in his spirit of devotion to serving others through fairness, justice, and care that the Tyler Parker Care Fund will become a resource for students and families at Newport Harbor High School, his alma mater, in the midst of emergencies. Tyler's Fund will also ensure all Newport Harbor High School students supported by Project Hope Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending homelessness in our community, will receive the support they need to thrive in school and in life.
