Congress has been directed to eliminate Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) funding, which would have a major impact on stations like ours:
- Since 2012, the CPB has granted Radio Milwaukee more than $2.1 million
- We currently receive about $175,000 per year from the CPB
- This funding was critical in our ability to launch HYFIN
- It also supports all of the programming we do, from arts education like Grace Weber's Music Lab to the music discovery and local artists we spotlight on our stations
