xScion + STEM for Her = Empowering the Next Generation of STEM Women

STEM for Her is honored to have been selected as the beneficiary for xScion’s Virtual 5K. Your gift today will help to get more girls and young women interested in pursuing careers in STEM. 

STEM for Her is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes education to create awareness, excitement, and opportunities among girls and young women to launch successful STEM-related careers.

We develop and deliver in-house STEM programming to middle and high school students in the DC Metro Area; award scholarship funding to graduating high school girls; host events like STEM for Her Day; collaborate with community organizations such as the YWCA and the National Capital Area Girl Scouts; and provide exclusive opportunities for girls to see women who look like them serving in leadership positions within various STEM fields.
