Throughout 2025, STAC has worked to build community power not only through ICE Watch trainings but also by equipping allied organizations, elected officials, and activists across the country with the tools and information they need to effectively counter authoritarianism in their communities. This year we have:

• Trained over 12,000 people from 20 states in community defense through our ICE Watch trainings
• Equipped community leaders with media training and resources as they directly confronted neo-Nazi demonstrations, book burnings, and other hate incidents
• Provided in-depth research and analysis of authoritarian threats to movement builders from California to Ohio to Tennessee
• Created messaging for activists and elected officials to counter authoritarian narratives

Our Substack will provide you with useful training and resources, and keep you informed and engaged in the fight for as long as it takes. We are dedicated to doing what we can to push back against the rise of authoritarianism in this country.
