At the Williams YMCA of Avery County, we believe in building a healthy mind, body, and spirit for ALL, as we couldn’t do it without you! Your gift continues to make it possible for the Y to serve those who need us most. YOU make more possible and continue to allow our Y to:

• Bring Community Outreach Programs into the homes of those seniors aging in place for home and wellness checks and food delivery.
• Feed over 30,000 meals to Avery County Children through YMCA After School programs and Summer Camp.
• Improve the functioning and quality of life of hundreds of adults battling Cancer, Parkinson’s Disease, Pre Diabetes, Arthritis, and Hypertension.
• Offer education opportunities for children 2 – 5 years of age in the new Hugh Chapman Early Learning Center.
• Equip school-age children to be successful in school and life with no cost after school and camp programs providing academic help, mentoring, tutoring, and more.
• Ensure that no one is turned away from critically needed services due to the inability to afford a membership or program fee.
• Expand our services into Mitchell County with a new YMCA Facility.
