If you weren't available on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 12 PM PT, you missed Funraise's Q2 2021 live product premiere. Don't worry—all the good stuff is right here.
We've recapped the event for you below, or you can watch the Funraise Future event video and pretend it's live.
This event was a doozy! Aside from the ridiculously awesome products we dropped, Funraise also took a step toward an even free-er future for nonprofits with our Donors Cover Fees model. For more info, contact our sales team and get modern fundraising tools made just for you.
Donors Cover Fees
Speaking of doozies, Justin Wheeler, Funraise CEO and Co-founder, dropped an enormous announcement when he revealed our newest advancement in the pursuit of nonprofit tech for all charitable organizations: Donors Cover Fees.
For a complete breakdown of the structure, read through our explanatory Donors Cover Fees article, complete with examples.
The idea behind Donors Cover Fees is the same driving force that pushed us to make Funraise Free in 2020: make sure that nonprofits everywhere have the technology they need to achieve their missions, regardless of their budget.
Giving by Funraise
If you’re like most nonprofits, half of the traffic to your website is from a mobile device! Your donors already manage much of their lives with apps—from buying groceries to banking—it’s about time they manage their donations with an app, too.
But your donors aren't the only ones to reap the benefits of Funraise's donor portal app: your nonprofit no longer has to send year-end donation summaries at tax time!
Fundraising Website Templates
If you've been watching our product releases, you know that Funraise recently dropped a supercustomizable, easy-for-anyone, plug-and-play Campaign Site Editor. Now we want to show off the pro-fresh-ionally designed, thoughtfully created templates that make it even easier for you to bring your fundraising campaign site dreams to life.
Fundraising Commitments
If you’ve ever had to collect pledge remainders from fundraisers, you know how tedious it can be. This new feature is for you!
Fundraising Commitments allow you to require fundraisers to raise a minimum amount. If your fundraiser doesn't raise the required amount by your deadline, you’ll be able to charge the difference to a payment method provided at signup.
Fundraiser Customization
The feedback on our Campaign Site Editor has been so positive that we're extending some of that customization magic directly to your fundraisers!
See, peer-to-peer fundraising is personal. And the more a fundraiser personalizes their page, the more ownership and motivation they have to reach the goals they’ve set. Similarly, when family and friends visit a fundraiser’s page, having the fundraiser’s images, videos, and story in their own words makes the donation ask all the more compelling.
